This class will cover otho injuries and the treatment of such injuries, especially with the new vacuum splints

By the end of this class the student will be able to:

1. How to size and apply the vacuum splint

2. How to avoid distracting injuries

3. Demonstrate how to immobilize various ortho injuries

4. How to assess for neurological impairment before and after immobilization

5. Discuss various options for pain management.
