Bradycardic Overdoses Webinar
This lecture equips EMS providers with the knowledge to recognize, assess, and manage bradycardia caused by common toxicologic overdoses. Participants will review the pharmacologic mechanisms behind depressant, opioid, calcium channel blocker, betablocker, and cholinergic toxidromes, along with key clinical clues that differentiate toxicologic bradycardia from other cardiac causes. The session emphasizes rapid identification, field treatment strategies, antidote considerations, and safe transport decision making to improve outcomes in critically ill overdose patients.
