This class will cover airway management to include OPA, NPA, SGI, ETT, Cric.

Target Audience

Conifer Fire Protection District and Elk Creek Fire Department

Learning Objectives

By the end of this class the student will be able to:

1.  Demonstrate how to size and place an OPA and NPA

2. Demonstrate how to size and place a SGI

3. Demonstrate how to size and place an OETT and NETT

4. Demonstrate how to perform a cric on a manikin

5. Demonstrate how to locate the site for placement of a chest tube for needle decompression

6. Demonstrate how to suction a patient using a rigid suction cath and a French catheter.
